The AC system finally came back online after Glade searched out the engineer for the third time.  One of the breakers was tripped and one other thing had to be turned on.  It is interesting that the only ones affected were the two couples who were staying here for the break!  Anyway, it is restored and all is comfortable again.
The morning walk was beautiful and peaceful although there is a huge pile of chipped cement and broken tiles in the parking lot where they are dumping the debris from the floor in the temple.  Workers wearing masks labor to carry it all out in big buckets and then trudge back in for more.
I took time to take a few more pictures this morning for my own purposes so I can remember this beautiful place.   A few will be posted below and it will probably seem that you have seen them all before, but just skip over them or think of me and your dad walking this route every day and enjoying the view.
The missionary couple we met here a few weeks ago who are serving in San Pedro Sula called us Sunday night and invited us to come stay a couple of nights with them.  They want to take us to the ruins at Copan` and see a few sights.  They assured us it wasn’t hot at Copan`, although San Pedro is very hot, and that we would be safe.  So we accepted their invitation, and since we don’t have transportation and the thoughts of a five-hour bus ride sounded very hard on an unhealthy back, Glade booked flights for us leaving at 6:00 a.m. Thursday and returning on Saturday.  Besides, buses are not always safe and are often stopped by thieves.  There is cause to be a little anxious since the crime rate is so high and North Americans are always vulnerable.  There won’t be any undue risks, of course, but extra prayers would be much appreciated.

The power is scheduled to go off tonight at 8:00 p.m. so they can do maintenance on the transformer.  Glade just happened to hear about it from one of the workers in our building today or we would have been taken by surprise.   Somehow, they are not too good about getting out information to us—especially what I consider to be some rather important information.  We have our kindles, flashlights, and snacks so we are good!
Oops, I can't get the photos to post.  I can only get that irritating little circle that just goes around and around and around.   I'll try later.
