We felt the “Ground-hog Day” syndrome a little
today, but enjoyed it anyway. The treat for
us was skyping with family tonight. What
a blessing!
I saw
this quote the other day and thought how true it is. It doesn’t matter if it is a peer, your
spouse, your children, or friends in the Gospel--it holds true for all our acquaintances and
can give them the boost they need to greatness.
It reminds me of the story of "Johnny Lingo and the Seven-cow Wife." (I always called it the "Ten-cow Wife" for extra measure :)
“Treat people as if they were
what they ought to be and
you help them become what
they are capable of becoming.”
--Goethe
Good night :)
