The people who come with the excursions from Nicaragua really keep this temple going!  There were more buses from there today and the people filled the sessions, did baptisms, sealings, etc.  The sisters were so kind and appreciative of every little thing that was done for them.  Many spoke to me in Spanish and seemed satisfied with my responses.  One lady who was meditating after the session carried her open scriptures and came up to me and asked me to pray for her.  So I did.
The new couple who will be in the temple presidency started training today.  They are not very experienced and have a ways to go, but they are eager and working hard.
There was a shortage of temple workers again today and it puts a lot of pressure on those who do come and have to carry the extra load—especially the men.  Some of those assigned to be coordinators just don’t show up and they don’t really have replacements or substitutes they can call.  But every day, the work gets done and all is well.
We need to pray for our country, for the world and its leaders.  We need to be stalwart and stand as unwavering witnesses of Christ, holding to the iron rod of the Gospel with all our might.  We send our love and prayers to you.

    Good Night!
