It took me all morning
to recuperate from yesterday’s time in the temple and needless to say, I did
not go today. It was an incredibly busy
day in the temple and I probably would have just been in the way, but I missed
being a part of the hustle and bustle of this great work. The number of endowments today was nearly
1,500 with 36 receiving their own.
It snowed for a couple
of hours this afternoon—big beautiful flakes that added up to about a couple of
inches. It was snowing again later when
Glade came back from the temple and added another inch that was sticking to the
roads. I played the keyboard for a
while, which faces outside our big windows, and watched it blanket the trees
and the lawn and it was gorgeous. It is
a good thing I went to the temple yesterday when it was warm and dry.
One of my good friends
came over tonight and we had a great visit and played a card game. She was so sweet to come over and help fill
my time. She is a single sister and will
be returning to Utah in a couple of weeks on the same flight as ours.
Have a great Sunday. Hope you fill your spiritual tanks and gear
up for another week! Love to you
all! 😊
