It rained cats and dogs outside today! The forecast was for rain today and heavy
rain tomorrow. It was good we didn’t have
plans for outside activities, but even venturing to and from a car was a
drenching experience.
The physical therapy
exercises have already made measured improvement in my foot and ankle. The swelling is going down and the mobility is
good. That was a needed bright spot in
the day because it’s getting harder and harder to endure the limitations of activity and the confinement of these four walls with a happy heart. But I’m being good so the
healing will be complete! I have to
admit though, I’m getting anxious to put this behind me and “move” forward. Lots of self-talk going on. 😊
Temple attendance is up
meaning people are realizing that the closure is right around the corner. Temple workers' time is better spent when the
sessions are full and the laundry is piled high!
A missionary couple
stopped by to visit tonight while Glade was in the temple and they brought
beautiful red Gerber daisies. It was so
kind of them to help me fill my evening.
Sweet Dreams! Happy Birthday to Louisa. 😊
