After an early, early morning
and a busy shift, we set to work filling the rest of the neighbor gift treat
bags, organized four trays by building number, and regretted not having a Santa
hat for Glade as we delivered the goodies.
Most of them were left on doorsteps next to other treats since two
shifts of people were overlapping at the temple. It was great fun and Glade was a happy
participant. 😊 We accrued several more gifts at our own door
and probably won’t sleep tonight with all the sugar coursing through our
veins. My heart rate is already
racing!
While we ate soup about
8:00 p.m. I placed the DVD that came by way of Scott and Alexis—I think—in November
into the new external disc player we picked up for my computer, connected it to
the TV via the cable that was already here, and wallah!—we had a movie on our
nice TV. We watched George C. Scott playing
Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol.” That’s
my favorite version along with “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”!!
Love you all! Enjoy the last few days before Christmas and
fill them full of joy and great memories.
