Today was finally our fun day to relax and we spent part of it doing a little Christmas shopping for each other together.  Glade even enjoyed the pressure-less shopping while the 50-degree weather and a little sunshine cheered him greatly.  We had lunch in the mall and shopped for neighbor gifts that we will give some time this week.  We bought bags of fresh mandarin oranges and bags of Hershey kisses to put on a bed of shredded decorative paper in treat bags along with the story of The Christmas Orange.   We’ll tie the bags with red and green ribbons.  There are about 40 couples here and five single sisters, so our work is cut out for us.  People have been leaving cookies and chocolate treats at our door for several days now and it is our turn to share.

It was a wonderful day and we are trying to soak in every precious minute of this glorious season.  Every day we bask in the shine of the brilliant lights on the temple grounds and will be sad when darkness replaces the light.

Sending lots of love and wishes for a joyous Christmas season.  :)

P.S.  We would love to see photos of your Christmas happenings!
