Today we decided to
send a few Christmas cards. It has only been
possible to tackle one thing at a time with our schedule and time constraints, and
this was the last Christmas activity on our list. So, even though they will be late in arriving, we are going to send them anyway.
It was too late to buy cards, so the computer
came in handy for creating a homemade offering.
We looked up the Staples store closest to us and drove there this
morning before our shift started to have a few copies made. I had to take my computer because I still can’t
figure out how to use the thumb or jump drive we just recently purchased. I know, I know—so many of my children have
shown me how, but it takes practice!
The nice lady there
named Lateesha was very kind and helped me by doing it for me with her own
drive and it all worked out nicely. It is
so great when people are kind and willing to go the extra mile to help others
out and make their day brighter.
The temple experiences today were wonderful, as usual; and the sister coordinators brought chocolate to share. Everyone is in such a cheery state of mind with the anticipation of family visits and celebrations. Time together is so precious and we must savor every moment.
Hope you all have a
wonderful week-end and enjoy these last few days before Christmas. Love you all so much and pray for you every
day. 😊
