This was a great day.  It’s always nice to have a little more time on Friday’s since we don’t go to the temple until the evening shift.  All the Christmas packages are in the mail and it was so fun to do a little “Christmasing” here in spite of our tight schedule.  More light snow fell today which added to the season’s charm, but the roads were a little slick.

Christmas is only a few days away and I wish these days would stretch out a little so we could enjoy them longer.  Our “Light the World” efforts have definitely been limited to our temple service.  I hope your families have enjoyed participating in some way in this marvelous initiative. 

Below is a photo taken just before these items went into the mailing boxes.  They are small tokens, but they say “I love you” to my family and it was a little taste of home and tradition.
