Glade dropped me off at
the temple about 6:00 a.m.; then returned to our apartment until his later time. This was my day to be Assistant Shift
Coordinator even though I am not “proficient” in all of the positions yet! I trained as veil coordinator for the first
time, too, and it was kind of fun once I understood the physical dynamics and received
the instruction. It was a challenging
and rewarding day.
It’s really cold
outside—not as cold as Idaho, but pretty chilly. It is supposed to freeze next week. But nonetheless, we bundled up and braved the
cool air for our favorite walk. We
discovered a crew replacing an old pathway that we take with a new cement
sidewalk! It won’t be nearly as charming
or have that old-fashioned feel, but we will be able to walk side by side on
the new sidewalk instead of on the street or chancing the occasional risk on
the path. I took photos, but it was too
dark and they didn’t turn out well.
Have a great Thursday,
stay warm, read your scriptures, and be happy!!
Love you All 😊
