Attendance at the
temple has been way down this last week.
My guess is that the holidays and all the activities and special events that
come with Christmas are taking people elsewhere. It’s a good thing there are lots of ordinance
workers and temple missionaries so we can keep all of the ordinances
going. Today, I was able to be an
endowment patron and take one more name through. Then I was assigned to be the Endowment
Director for the next four sessions. It
was not nearly so intimidating this time and was less stressful also since the
numbers were down.
Glade and I enjoyed a beautiful
sunny walk this morning. We have time on
Thursdays to walk early since we don’t leave for the temple until 11:30.
Some of the Christmas
lights were on tonight on the temple grounds and all of the Visitor Center
lights were on. The trees and bushes are
lit in brilliant colors and the bulbs are set so very close together. Maybe the rest will be on tomorrow night when
we return. I took a few pictures as we
were leaving, but they’re not the best.
I’ll just post one or two anyway since photos are always more fun than
reading a lot of “stuff”! 😊 Love and hugs to my awesome family!!
