Fast and Testimony meeting was beautiful today with senior missionary testimonies that brought us all to tears with their words.  It’s wonderful to know that each one of us is a son or daughter of Heavenly Father, that He knows us better than we know ourselves, and that He is watching over us and providing experiences that will be for our good.  When we feel His tender mercies and answers to our prayers, we have to know that He is aware of us and all that we need.  I’m so grateful to feel that He recognizes me and has blessed me over and over again.  I will always love Pres. Eyring’s counsel to us to ask at the end of each day, “How have I seen the hand of the Lord in my life today.”  If we look, we will see.  If we don’t see, we must search and strive to live closer to the Spirit.

By the time Relief Society and Priesthood meeting started this evening, it was already nearly dark outside and felt really strange to end our block at 5:30 in complete darkness.  Our break-the-fast dinner was wonderful and everyone was ready to eat!  We had five large crockpots each filled with a delicious soup and none was duplicated.  There was a watermelon decoratively cut and filled with watermelon pieces and red grapes, salads, garlic bread, rolls, veggies, brownies, my pumpkin sheet cake, and a few other delectables.  With the help of an auxiliary table which accommodated eight people, our own kitchen dining table that seats six, and three small TV like tables, we were able to seat all 17 people.  It was really "cozy"!    Everyone stayed afterward and visited forever, then helped with the clean-up that went extremely fast!  We have lots of food left over and it is all divided and in the freezer for the days ahead!  Awesome 😊

I am more grateful than I can express for a wonderful family! --for children and grandchildren who are faithful in the Gospel and who love and respect each other.  Thank you for being so supportive of one another and always trying to be kind and helpful.  So many families are in distress and the blessings of mutual support and loving each other are becoming more rare.  It is such a beautiful part of who we are and I hope and pray that this legacy will continue into the future.

It rained/misted again today and suddenly the trees are bursting with color.  It is like they were waiting for a drink of water.  It was overcast, but so beautiful.  My pictures don’t even come close to showing all the glorious fall here.  My phone pics just can’t quite capture the aura but I can’t help but post a few anyway.  I’m sure many of you are having a beautifully colorful fall as well.

Thanks for your comments, emails, and responses.  It does the heart good!!!

Love you all so much!  Good Night.

I took these in the Church parking lot this afternoon.
