This is our earliest
morning which always makes it hard to sleep the night before because of anxiety—either
right up front or subconsciously—so it is also one of our hardest days because
we are so tired. But I love Wednesday nights
because it’s behind us and the pressure is gone for another week. It is a ridiculous situation but we can’t
seem to shake that old culprit, angst.
There was a bad
accident on one of the bridges early this morning resulting in a 6-7 car
pile-up which backed up traffic for hours.
Many of the workers and patrons were late and came to the temple with
stories of long, long waits on the beltway and slow commutes. The early sessions were so small, and then it
was busy as the arrivals bunched together. There was also an accident last night that
caused re-routed traffic to back up even on Kensington Road where we walk. From our window we could see it backed up
bumper to bumper for a long time.
Best Buy finished
working on Glade’s computer and we went out tonight about 8:00 to pick it
up. It was just mal-ware and ad-ware so
the geeks cleaned it up. However, I
heard that on Cyber Monday, which is the day he had so much trouble—that many people
had a hard time getting emails and sending texts even, because of high
demand. So, he had a double whammy! But, all is well tonight and he is happy to
be back in business. While we were at Best Buy, I picked up a DVD drive for my computer. Now I can use my own for movies and music and not have to rely on Glade's. It was my Christmas present.
It was a beautiful day
for our walk and it just cheered us right up.
Not that we needed cheering up necessarily—we just need sleep 😊
Love to everyone and HAPPY
BIRTHDAY, MADDIE!!
