Wow, tomorrow is Friday
again already! Time is flying by faster
than at any other time in my life.
Perhaps it’s because we are busy, scheduled, and enjoying all aspects of
our service.
While changing sheets
on the bed this morning, an all too familiar noise kept me turning my head,
trying to figure out what it was and where it was coming from. I didn’t want to hear it because it reminded
me of the times we had a mouse behind the drywall in the living room/stairwell
twenty years ago and a little like a mouse in the ceiling crawlspace in the
basement. However, I was drawn to the
window and carefully peered through the slates of the blinds and saw this yellow
and red-headed bird doing his rata-tat-tat on the side of our apartment where it was perched directly under my window! It was undeterred by
having an audience and two smaller black birds joined the first one, that Glade
said was a Woodpecker! Thank goodness it
wasn’t a mouse in the house!! I can deal
with an outside bird. Missed getting the photo, however.
Thanks for all the comments and the cute pictures of your kids and all the Halloween fun. Love you all.
Good Night! 😊
