Last night our beloved prophet, teacher, counselor, and role model, Pres. Thomas S. Monson, passed away leaving a rich legacy of love and service.  He will be deeply missed, but people are rejoicing at the great reunions taking place on the other side of the veil.  We will live by his counsel and quote his great Gospel messages for years and years to come.

This quote, 

“A goal without a plan is just a wish” struck home with me as I have pondered the changes I would like to make in this new year.  A plan is key and although it’s past the New Year, my plan is still in the making.  You would think that at this point in my life, it would not be necessary to keep striving for the same results; but perhaps that word “striving” is the key.  As long as the goal is identified and one strives with all diligence to move toward it, the striving is the success, a process that is successful even if only accomplished incrementally.  I hope that doesn’t sound like an excuse, but that’s the way it is 😊
