Spending every day in the temple is a
unique experience and it feels like “home” since we are there so often. The hallways, the rooms, the beautiful
paintings and furnishings that surround us feel so familiar and
comfortable. It is such a blessing to us
to be here.
I helped one rather timid and
apprehensive sister today, giving her reassurance and support and she was so
grateful and expressed her thanks over and over again. Krisia (I can’t remember how to spell her
name!) came as a patron and looked especially pretty. She was there to be with a friend who is
going on a mission to Guatemala; he leaves next week. There were sisters who needed help with
clothing, some needed directions, others wanted help getting the work done for family
name, and someone needed shoes. All of
these seemingly mundane encounters help make my day fulfilling alongside the
critical ordinance work. I just love the
people!
Here are a few more Fundamentals for
Following the Prophet
Fourth:
The prophet will never lead the
Church astray.
Fifth:
The prophet is not required
to have any particular earthly training or
credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter
at any time.
Sixth:
The prophet does not have to
say “Thus saith the Lord” to give us
scripture.
Seventh: The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want
to know.
Oops—it
just turned into Thursday! Good Night
Everyone!
