The morning shift is always the best but is fraught with the challenge of getting enough sleep.  Invariably, sleep is elusive when you realize that the alarm is going off in 6 ½ hours, and then in 5 ½ hours, and then in 4 ½ hours, and so on!  But we always manage and love the morning work once we get there.  The day started off with a slow pace, but it picked up after a bus from Nicaragua arrived.  Later in the afternoon another bus brought a youth group to do baptisms, so it was a great day.  Glade and I still lead a session together nearly every day and love this part of our service.  After the first session together this morning, he went to the main desk and I went to help with Initiatory.  That’s where I speak my best Spanish and no one outside of these sweet Latin American’s will ever hear it.
We hope everyone in draught-ridden areas will get rain, that those experiencing unseasonal rains will get a respite, and that you all enjoy some beautiful Fall days!  It’s goodbye to September and welcome to October, one of the greatest months of the year!!
         Love you all.  Good Night!
