          Thanks for the anniversary wishes!  Our first temple experience together many years ago was very different from the one we shared today.  A lot of learning has taken place over the years not only about the temple, but about us as a couple.  I am a firm believer in the adage “Choose the one you love, and then love the one you chose.” 

A revealing activity is to list all the things that you love about your spouse, the strengths that this person has brought to your marriage, to your life, and to your children.  The list should confirm your good choice and remind you of just how blessed you are.

Differences in personalities, likes and dislikes, interests and abilities can often work together as complements to help make the puzzle pieces create a beautiful whole.  We have been blessed with joy and happiness as we have consciously worked together to strengthen and build our relationship.
