         It was a great Sunday and the evening was calm enough for us to have a really nice walk around the temple grounds and enjoy the panoramic view of the lights spread across the city. 

         Sister Valladares started the practices today for the stake choir which will sing for Stake Conference in November.  I get to accompany again and Glade is leading the bass section.  She kept the practice  pretty close to an hour, so that was good.  The piano bench gets really hard to keep sitting on after much more than that.  She is a cute and feisty little lady and I really like her.  We communicate through sign language, music knowledge, and other people, and do just great together.  Before long the practices for the Christmas choir will begin and will probably piggy-back with the stake conference practices.  It really does seem like we just did this!!

         Hope you all had a wonderful Sabbath day and are spiritually renewed for another week.  The evils of our world are crowding in around us and we need all of the spiritual strength and constant renewal that we can get.  Love and prayers for all of you—Good night!
