The new mission president and his wife, the Bowlers from Elko, Nevada, came to our apartment this morning for a visit before we all went to the temple.  He called a couple of days ago so we knew they were coming, and Glade ordered cinnamon rolls from our friends at the bakery for a late morning refreshment.
They have been here for about two months now and are pretty settled in to their work.  We loved our social time together and it was a “happy-day” maker for me to speak and hear an hour of English!!  They are great people and we have new friends.
The cinnamon rolls were mouth-wateringly delicious!  I haven’t tasted anything so good for ages and I know they could compete with anything at home.  Since we indulged again after our day at the temple, we are over-satisfied and “stuffed” but happy.

The temple work was great; there was a brief storm of wind and rain; and we are ready for our week-end although those two days are seldom restful.
