         After Family Home Evening last night we learned that the schedule had been changed and we were switched to mornings for this week.  No one told us and Glade only found out after talking with the couple we thought were going to be doing mornings.  Anyway, we almost missed being there this morning and were caught a little unprepared since we use the afternoon before to get everything ready for an early start.  But we have learned to “roll” with so many things here that we just “go and do” and all is well.  They were all sweet last night to sing “Happy Birthday” to me in English and then in Spanish.

         November brings rain again to this city and while I was practicing piano I heard it pounding on the roof.  The first raindrops were as big as silver dollars and really landed with a loud splat.  Eventually the storm rained itself out and I was able to walk home without getting drenched!
