Brother and Sister Caceras returned from San Pedro Sula just as we were leaving for choir practice.  They took their luggage into their apartment and joined the choir.  That was valiant.
The choir works very hard and the members earn our admiration for their dedication and desire to participate.  They just don’t have much experience and even less music education, so they are challenged on all sides.  A man sat next to Glade tonight and asked him to please help him sing the bass part.  So Glade sang in his ear and showed him with his hand when to “go up” with his voice and when to “go down.”  Everyone sings so loud that I wonder if they can even hear their own voice to tell if they are on key or not.  But their songs are full of heart and soul as they sing praises to the Lord.  Their spirited singing can just bring tears to your eyes and a tug at your heart.

I hope you had a pleasant, restful, and renewing Sabbath day.  Love to you all—
