The new Tegucigalpa Mission President
and his wife were in the temple today and we had a chance to visit with them
for a few minutes. They have been here
for about ten days and are just getting settled in for their three-year stay. He owns a huge cattle ranch in Elko, Nevada;
they have three sons; and she doesn’t speak Spanish! However, she will learn it quickly working
with the missionaries every day and traveling from place to place meeting and
talking with people. They are very nice
people and we are planning lunch with them soon. We love making new friends.
The numbers were sparse tonight at
choir practice with three missionary couples being the only ones who came! I hope they can carry the rest of the choir
tomorrow!! There was a Priesthood
Meeting of some kind going on in the chapel and there was a baptism in another
part of the building, so it was a busy night at the church.
This is July 12. We have eight months to the day remaining in
our mission. Wow!
We pray for a spiritually renewing
Sabbath Day—for us and for each of you!
Good Night!
