Glade stayed home again today, but is
feeling better tonight. His sinus issues
aren’t new although they can still make him pretty miserable. It will be nice for him to have two more days
off before returning to the temple.
Here is the third Resolution
suggestion:
3.
Take care of your body
Physical
well-being is closely connected to mental, emotional and spiritual health.
“Take
responsibility for your own physical well-being,” Elder Jörg Klebingat taught. "Feeding the spirit
while neglecting the body, which is a temple, usually leads to spiritual
dissonance and lowered self-esteem. If you are out of shape, if you are
uncomfortable in your own body and can do something about it, then do it! …
[P]lease use good judgment in what and especially how much you eat, and
regularly give your body the exercise it needs and deserves."
The Sunday meetings
for the two wards in our building have had only 30 minutes between start
times. We have been meeting at 8:30 for
Relief Society and Priesthood Meeting while the other ward has started
Sacrament Meeting at 9:00. Tomorrow we
will switch and our Sacrament Meeting will begin at 9:00. It will be a welcome change.
Enjoy the rest of
the week-end, be safe in your travels, and may your resolutions for the New
Year make you happy as you put them into high gear and set off running towards
success!
Love you all. Good Night!

Glade spent the day at home with a
sinus issue again so I went to the temple without him. He is my best back-up and support and it just
doesn’t feel right when he is not there.
He walked to the pharmacy and picked up some penicillin. Here, you can purchase it over-the-counter
without a prescription and it is very inexpensive. He felt better this afternoon, but nights are
always bad making tomorrow’s decision about going back several hours away.
It was another busy day with three
bus-loads of people and dozens of missionaries filling the temple. The New Year is off and running on a great
note!
Here is the second New Year’s
Resolution suggestion from General Conference October 2014.
