It might get a little hard to know
what to write about now that the holidays are over and we are back in the
routine of temple work. There isn’t a
lot of variety in what we do and the only thing unusual about today was the
weather. A cold front moved across the
country and left wind and rain in its wake—plus the coolest temperatures here
to date. The wind nearly blew my
umbrella away (plus my hair-do) as we walked across the parking lot. Of course we love the cool weather, but it
seems to be really hard for these sweet people who are so used to the
heat. We know some of you have had
extremely cold temperatures. We hope you are keeping warm and are not having to
deal with broken pipes, cars that won’t start, and icy roads. Love you all.
Glad you've gotten some of the cooler weather too:) We've loved it! But we're ready for the 50s and 60s again. I think our dishwasher pipes are frozen because it's not getting any water to it. We'll wait til everything thaws out and we'll see. It's been hard for our heater to keep up with the cold because the garage sheetrock and insulation is all torn up, so every room adjacent to it is FREEZING cold! Love you!
